Back in 2014, Bob Quartoroli’s wife Brenda was diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat the cancer, and has had clear scans ever since. As a way of taking a negative situation and turning it into something positive, Bob and Brenda came up with the idea of creating a House of Hope.
Bob builds one house every year where all the proceeds from the sale of the home, are donated to private individuals and various cancer related charities. Because of his first hand experience with cancer, and seeing the devastating toll it took on his wife and friends, he felt it necessary to give back to other people going through similar situations. Each year various foundations and private individuals are selected. So far, Bob and the Dreamscape team have donated to American Cancer Society, Angles Among Us, Susan G. Komen, Nanny Angel Network, and several private donations to individuals.
